DESCRIPTION:

The Tanakh and the Brit Chadashah specifically describe the signs of the times of the last days of Planet Earth. Right NOW we are in the TIMES of these signs. Both the Prophets and Messiah clearly laid out the PLAN for Israel. In this podcast I am going to tell you HOW and WHEN Iran (and Russia) will be defeated upon the hills of Israel, and WHY Russia is cavorting with Iran and other Islamic nation states.

ISRAEL: TIMES OF THE SIGNS

MUSIC / INTRO

No, I didn’t make a mistake in the title: “Times of the Signs” – NOT “Signs of the Times.” We are already seeing the SIGNS; we are IN the times of the signs! In the last podcast we talked about Two Traps for Israel (podcast Tue, 16 September 2008 “Israel: Two Traps Waiting for You.”)

One involves land for peace. Another involves a covenant of peace. The first is designed for the annihilation of the State of Israel; the second is designed for the annihilation of the People of Israel: the Jews.

In this podcast I am going to tell you HOW and WHEN Iran (and Russia) will be defeated upon the hills of Israel, and WHY Russia is cavorting with Iran and other Islamic nation states.

DEMONIC GEO-POLITICAL POWERS ASSIGNED TO IRAN

In Daniel Chapter 10, which is a prelude to chapters 11 and 12, we read that Daniel was fasting for 21 days and at the end of those days an angel appeared to him.

“Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.”  (Daniel 10:10-13)

And then, the angel said:

“Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come." (Verse 20.)

There is a spiritual battle in the heavenlies. An angel who came to confirm the answer to Daniel’s prayer for understanding what would befall the people of Israel in the LAST DAYS. The angel fought against Satanic principalities (demons) over the geo-political confines of Persia (modern day Iran). Then, the angel said, after that there would be the prince (demon spirit) over the kingdom of Greece (the next future empire to rule after Persia).

These same demons are alive – real – today. Demons are spirits and, like Holy Angels, do NOT die. However they will be judged with torment for eternity, as all of Satan’s followers will, after the Great Judgment of G-d Almighty.

The point to understand here is that Iran has a Satanic principality (demonic authority) assigned to and over it. This is the reason for hatred of the Jewish People, of Israel as a nation, and of non-Muslim believers.

Islam is a religion created in Hell. It did NOT begin with Mohammed. Before Mohammed it was a pantheon of deities, which he re-packaged to a monotheistic false god “allah.” This was the name of the “moon god.” Mohammed’s relatives before him carried the root name of ‘allah” and had devotion to the “moon god.”

The name “allah” is NOT another name for the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Moon worship "al-ilah" has been practiced in Arabia since 2000 BC, a long time before Mohammed. The crescent moon is the most common symbol of this pagan moon worship.

HOW AND WHEN IRAN (AND RUSSIA) WILL BE DEFEATED UPON THE HILLS OF ISRAEL

Ezekiel Chapter 38 tells us that Russia and Iran and their allies will be defeated on the hills of Israel in a MIRACLE display of G-d’s power, so that the nations of the world (the goyim) will know that YHWH is the LORD.

“Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Tanakh: Ezekiel 38:23)

Read the whole of Chapters 38 and 39 in Ezekiel. This battle happens BEFORE the war of Armageddon. They are TWO SEPARATE battles. In Ezekiel Chapter 39 we see that after G-d brings Russia and her allies (including Iran) against Israel, He destroys 83% of their military forces:

“And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

Thou shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

Thou shall fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.” (Tanakh: Ezekiel 39:2-7)

Notice verse 3:  “And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.”  The Hebrew word for “bow” used here is “qesheth” and literally means a “launcher, or (device for) shooting.” The word Hebrew word here used for “arrows” is “chets” and means “(a) piercing missile.”

It doesn’t take any imagination to see that in this particular battle G-d will completely disarm / destroy the missiles and missile launchers of Russia and her allies (including Iran) so that they can NOT be used against Israel.

Notice that verse 9 of Ezekiel 9 tells us that it will take seven (7) years for Israel to burn the weapons of war that are destroyed in this battle. It is interesting to note that nuclear weapons have a limited shelf life due to geometry changes of short lived isotopes. The shelf life of a soviet warhead is seven years. (After six years they are recycled.)

“And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.” (Verse 9)

It is possible that Israeli scientists and engineers will be able to use the nuclear potential of these weapons for good: for energy for seven years.

WHY RUSSIA IS CAVORTING WITH IRAN AND OTHER ISLAMIC STATES

One out of three Russians is Islamic. On the home front, Russia has traditional enemies to the West and East: Germany to the west; China and Japan to the East. Russia has to turn to the South for help: the radicals are Iran, Syria, and Libya. That’s WHY Russia is building nuclear plants in Iran: for research and for training.

Russia is afraid of the RADICAL Islamic Shiites (core base is in Iran) causing trouble in Russia in the big five Muslim areas. Therefore, it was advantageous for Russia to strike a deal with Iran to control the Shiites: to stop them (at least temporarily) from causing problems in Russia.

Iran agrees to NOT cause problems in Russia.

Iran receives nuclear help and training from Russia.

Also, a military commitment from Russia to back Iran in case of war.

SUMMARY

Israel is in a spiritual conflict. Israel must have spiritual power to overcome this conflict. The only way to have real spiritual power is through G-d. The prophet Ezekiel reminds us:

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it.” (Tanakh: Ezekiel 22:30)
